Elias walked down the hallway with silent footsteps, ready to pull off his next
infiltration in his list. He was a member of a very secret organisation, an organisation
stretching back thousands and thousands of generations, founded even before the birth of
Jesus Christ. They were studied by people even today, though very few actually believed in its
existence anymore. They were best known for their infiltration abilities. All governments who
wanted a decent espionage system would study this organisation in great detail. Critics
described them as power-seeking psychopaths who infiltrated bodies just for the fun of it and
didn’t have any real aim. Because of their mass infiltration abilities, this organisation had
amassed a great amount of influence.
“Chris, there is someone behind the door,” Elias whispered.
“I got him there, you look eastwards and tell Jonathan I will back him up in a while.” I signalled.
A silhouette scampered through the translucent glass with ultimate perfection. I slyly
walked my way to the glass, with my eyes on every object in the room. Dark, gloomy shadows
secretly murmured to each other and I was keen as always. My ears perked up like a rabbit’s
and I was all ready for the mission.
Slowly, I made my way towards the door. I kneeled beside the door, pointing my
micro drill at it. Soundlessly, the drill made a minute hole at waist level, small enough to
insert my micro camera into, to allow me to get a decent view on what was inside. As I turned
it on, the image came as a mini image on my glasses. I inserted it into the hole and moved it
around, getting a bearing of the contents of this room. Near the doorway, I saw a man,
probably security, pacing up and down. Looking at the far end of the room, I could see at
least 3 more men, all armed. Meanwhile, Jonathan had been working on the door with his
lock-picking expertise. He silently swung open the door handle and...
It was Greg, my nephew! He was with 2 other spies, what was he up to? I lifted my
gun at him and marched forward steadily. He immediately noticed me, and his face froze.
The other guys darted away swiftly. Jonathan ran after them instantly.
Greg had his face down, touching his chest. I was not ready to have him arrested, I
asked him, “Why?”
The kid was in tears. I pulled the trigger and there he fell. I could not look at him any
longer, it disgusted me. I walked back with a cold feeling in my heart and a sweaty face.
This was the last time I went for a mission.
